The WHO adopted in May 2014 an amendment which stipulates that the protection afforded by yellow fever and the term of validity of the certificate will change from 10 years to the duration of the life of the person vaccinated. Please, be aware that this change will come into force legally only in June 2016. Immigration services at the airport in Lagos require to see your yellow fever vaccination certificate, so make sure it is up to date.
